It’s always interesting to me that when a player gets beyond a certain age or beyond a certain amount of worth to the media they seem to take off the gloves and offer what they think is “harsh reality”. In this case I’m specifically talking about Allen Iverson and the recent troubles that he has been having with his family. Now while even I wondered about the happenings behind the scenes in the Iverson story, I believe that his personal issues are his to deal with. It is one thing to reach out and offer help to someone who is struggling and in need of some advice but it is another to air that person’s troubles out for all to see and judge.
